Biography
Actor and activist Ryan Jamaal Swain’s breakout role came as Damon on the critically acclaimed and award-winning FX series “Pose.” Ryan has been awarded numerous accolades for his LGBTQIA advocacy by the Human Rights Campaign, Forbes, TVOne’s Urbanone Honors, The Trevor Project and GLAAD. Some theatre credits: Choir Boy (Broadway), Love in Thoughts of a Colored Man (world premiere). Upcoming TV credit: “The First Lady” (Showtime).
