Biography
He landed his first big break in 2008 playing a recon Marine in David Simon’s Emmy-nominated HBO mini-series “Generation Kill,” alongside Alexander Skarsgard and Stark Sands. His credits include Paul Thomas Anderson’s Inherent Vice, “How to Get Away with Murder,” “Treme” and “Bates Motel,” though he is perhaps best known for playing “Wade Kinsella” on the CW’s “Hart of Dixie.” A lifelong tennis player, Bethel’s first gig upon moving to Los Angeles, before an acting career was even a hope of a dream, was teaching tennis lessons at the Oakwood Apartments in Burbank. It is a job he still hopes to return to someday.
